DieForHer.com: What catalyzed your interest-involvement as a dominant woman? Even if it's natural or gone back many years, do you remember the first time you felt a tingle of enjoyment — "look at what I am getting this guy to do"? Bijou Steal: When I was 21 and living in New York City, I worked as a coatcheck girl at The club of the moment. My boss (not of the coatcheck, of the club) took me aside one day and asked me if he could be my slave.
“Why me?”, I asked.
“Because you look like you could be a real bitch," he said.
That was my first introduction to domination. He offered a Green Card in exchange for marrying me so I could stay in the United States and dominate him 24-7. The initial offer, more than the activities we actually engaged in, comprised my first awareness of my female power.
Unfortunately for him, I found the guy to be unreliable — he had problems. Nor did I want to marry him and dominate only him.
I wanted to dominate many men! So I never took him up on the Green Card offer.
DieForHer.com: Dancing in the ballet... a feeling of power? How does it compare to dominating one of your slaves? Bijou Steal: Dancing in ballet was probably me at my most powerful. Domination comes second. Sadly, I was badly injured and had to retire at age 18. The control and will power I had over my body, to fight through pain and discomfort to serve (and I do not use “serve” by accident) my art form was a great source of strength for me.
I felt superior to others who could not mold their bodies and interpret music as well as I could. But ballerinas, essentially, are not dominant figures. Their bodies and minds are instruments through which they create their art. Ballerinas are submissive to their art form, though still incredibly powerful beings.
It is this dichotomy of power and submission that I find interesting and inspired me to create my “Ballerina Gone Bad” clip store. Here of course, the ballerina is fully dominant. She uses her body as a weapon against men.
As I am a sadist (and also a masochist, having been a ballerina), I get my greatest power rushes when I engage in corporal punishment on a slave.
Mental cruelty is another favorite, though to truly engage in this activity, I must know the slave really well on a mental level. I am lucky to have a couple of clients who are smart enough and interesting enough and who are personal friends of mine, that I can really shake them up mentally.
