I like Ursula because she was in my favorite Disney movie growing up, The Little Mermaid.

It's worth noting that Ursula is anything but the stereotpyical femme fatale type, at least on the surface. She's a fat, sassy old hag who is out to get revenge because she's bitter and ugly.

Ursula doesn't use her beauty to gain power, because she doesn't have any, so she steals Ariel's intoxicating voice and makes herself pretty to control the situation.

In actuality, she really doesn't seem to care about being pretty at all — except as a means to manipulate the prince's weak male mind.

I mean, if she has the power to make herself hot, why wouldn't she be hot all the time?

Beauty is overrated. Men are stupid for being so weak for it.

Don't get me wrong. I appreciate being the stunningly gorgeous and flawless person that I am.

But sometimes the "hype" of beauty is so ridiculous I wish I could snap my fingers and by hideous just to spite it all.
