Trying to figure out the most beautiful femexecution
By drowning, hanging, garotting, piano-wire, belt-noose...
We can't decide. Heck, we're all choked up...
So we're punting on this one — leaving it up to you...

Cornelia Sharpe — The Next Man
Why it's here: Cornelia Sharpe drugs her victim, kisses him passionately, gently lays him on the bed... and then tenderly places a plastic bag with a draw string on his head, killing him softly as she nonchalantly showers. It's one of the sexiest femex kills in history; earned positive reviews from such critics as Roger Ebert; and helped establish Ms. Sharpe as a 1970s echo of Elke Sommer. Late in the film, she even kills alpha male Sean Connery, cast here as a peace-promomting Arab dipomat a la Anwar Sadat.

Gina Gershon — Picture Claire
Why it's here: Gina Gershon steals the show (she's not "Claire") by offing Mickey Rourke — her former employer and trainer in the art of assassination — with her bare hands, her lovely lips, and a cord. (See Youtube posting of this scene, running atop this page.) Now, please take a look at Gina Gershon's mouth as she speaks, seduces, and envelopes poor Mickey. Is not one kiss with her worth the price she exacts? Her gloved hands energetically garotte Mickey in one of the more realistic execution by strangulation scenes we've seen. And she seems to enjoy it.

Camille Keaton — I Spit on Your Grave
Why it's here: Camille Keaton's performance in this film, including the overly-graphic rape scene that establishes her motive for the justifiable homicides that follow, ought to have established this as the quintessential rape and revenge production in the cinema... a kind of Blair Witch Project of the age of the disposable male.
Her patient, sardonic seduction of Matthew, literally placing the noose around his neck as he humps pathetically and animalistically toward orgasm, has a grace that transcends the film's rough edges. (Her castration-penectomy on Matthew's friend in a later bathtub scene is even more riveting.) Imperfect? Yes. Low production quality? Certainmoi. Graphic? Oh, yes. Gratuitous? Nope. Sexy? Unarguably.

Cheri Caffaro — Too Hot to Handle
Why it's here: Cheri Caffaro does it again, reprising her role as ass-kicking superspy and femexecutioner in the Ginger series for the final time — and this, at her sexiest and most lethal. Her riveting plastic-bag execution of Mackenzie Portman (skillfully played by British actor John Van Dreelen) kicks off a film with multiple sexy kills. She even knocks off — too rare in female assassin films, in our humble opinion — the main male character, leaving the final credits to read like a roll of the deceased at a mass funeral.
Still, it's the opening sequence with Portman that makes the movie, particularly her ironic narration of the masochistic elitist's death — "How's that, Mr. Portman? Medieval enough for your tastes?," she growls as she places the bag over his head — and her relaxed inhalation of a cigarette as she watches him run out of air. Evidently that second hand smoke really does kill you.

Angela Browne —
"How to Succeed at Murder," The Avengers
Why it's here: Ms. Brown's performance as Sara Penny constitutes one of the most graceful, yet lethal, uses of a female stocking in the popular culture. (Season Four, Episode 25, 1966 of The Avengers.) She rolls down her nylons, tantalizing and captivating her victim. She approaches him, smiling — tosses the stocking around his neck — forms a garotte — and, badabing, badaboom! wom, wam! — Ex-male.

Eihi Shiina — The Audition
Why it's here: Our readers have been known to lose their head for a pretty girl — which is just what happens to an aging film producer after he tries to lure a pretty young girl using what she thinks is a casting opportunity as bait, in the ironically titled, The Audition. This movie, like I Spit on Your Grave, is not for the faint of heart. Eihi Shiina drugs and tortures her victim mercilessly, before finally pulling out a piece of piano wire, strangling and ultimately decapitating him. (See inset. Melba Moore — Def by Temptation
Why it's here: Melba Moore only appears onscreen for a few minutes in this film, but what a few minutes they are. In the opening scene, she seduces a bartender to her flat. As she lures him up the stairs into her bedroom and shower, she pulls out his own belt and uses it as a choke collar to dispense with him.
