Singapore Slinger: San Francisco's inscrutable Ai-Li


Editor's note: We first saw Mistress Ai-Li at about the same time Kronenbourg beer produced a commercial of a beautiful woman who walks down the street and causes the death of several males — one gawks at her as a bus plows over him; she smiles, and a construction worker splits open the head of a co-worker; an electrician plunges to his death as she deftly crosses her legs, and so on. DieForHer: Can you sort of sum yourself up for us in a few sentences? Where you're from, how you got here?
Mistress Ai-Li: I am originally from Singapore but left when I was just a toddler. My family and I moved around quite a bit while I was growing up and again back to Singapore when I was a teenager. I left on my own back to the Bay Area for college and have stayed since then.

DieForHer: You could have dinner anywhere in the world tonight... we have a Star Trek teleporter, so there will be no travel burdens. where would you go?
Mistress Ai-Li: Singapore of course- and I would literally gorge myself on all the laksa, popiah, and chili crab I could eat!

DieForHer: And who would be there with you?
Mistress Ai-Li: As many of my friends and family that would fit in to the teleporter.


DieForHer: What's the most touching gift anyone has ever given you?
Mistress Ai-Li: When I was younger my sister created a scavenger-present hunt. At each clue was a small little gift, leading me into the kitchen, the bathroom, the basement, etc. At the very end of the scavenger hunt she presented me with a bike. I was so touched I started to cry — which made her cry! It was all very touching.

DieForHer: How did you get interested and involved in domination?
Mistress Ai-Li: I became involved first on a professional level. I had a bit of experience privately and wanted to explore more with my current partners but they were never interested in any type of kink or fetish exploration — go figure. So I decided to join the Gates, my current dungeon, on my own and have absolutely loved it ever since.
