My favorite femme
I'm a pure Bitch at heart and truly adore Bridget Gregory (Linda Fiorentino) in The Last Seduction. I sincerely identify with Her character as being an intelligent yet cruel and Bitchy Woman who NEVER gives in or compromises! In My eyes, She is the Queen of Manipulatrixes. The beautiful and cunning Bridget is married to an idiot of a doctor who sells stolen medicinal cocaine to some drugdealers, so that he can buy Her some "new digs". When he provokes Her, She steals the money and goes on the run. LOL. Throughout the film She effortlessly bosses people around, uses and abuses men, steals money, lies and manipulates random people to get what She wants and fucks like there's no tomorrow. What more can you ask for in a Femme Fatale? In the end She convinces Her "designated f---" to kill Her husband, but he is too much of a wimp to pull off, so She ends up doing it Herself. To add insult to injury, She gets away with every evil deed that She delivers, something most Femme Fatales rarely pull off, and her boy toy goes down soley for the murder as She pockets every stolen penny (probably life insurance money as well). Her ability to plot, inflict mental cruelty and humiliate within the blink of an eye is brilliant. As well, She can deliver a severe punch and kill without remorse all the while maintaining a sense of classic urban style and guiltlessly devious charm. I love Her!
