My favorite femme
Dumb like a fox:
Marilyn Monroe
and the Bimbo who conquers
My favorite femme fatale would have to be the incomparable Marilyn Monroe, whose beauty and grace made her, in some ways, the most powerful woman in the world — certainly, a woman who changed history.
Her legend lives on, and rivals that of Helen of Troy, Mata Hari, Delilah — women who could, quite simply, make a man do just about anything.

Her films allowed her to explore a broader range of the femme fatale type than is generally recognized. These roles ranges from gold-digging seductrix in All About Eve or Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, to a siren luring her lover to commit murder for her in Niagra.
Marilyn Monroe used her beauty and her understanding of the male psyche to tease and control. Her soft exterior and I'm-just-a-bimbo facade made it seem safe to get close. So the male gets close — then too close — then much too close.
Soon enough — but far too late — he realizes he will cheat, steal, or kill for her. And of course, if it amuses, die for her.
